About Us
Jackie Van Ahn

Jackie got her HR start working for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation in Des Moines, IA. After five years she took a job as the HR Manager for a growing insurance broker-administrator. The company grew from 200 employees to 2500. In her 20 year role as head of Human Resources she oversaw all HR practices including recruiting, hiring, training and payroll.

For the last five years Jackie has been consulting for smaller clients giving them the best HR methods and practices without the cost of a full time HR professional. Her work includes advice on HR practices such as employee performance, writing employee handbooks, help with hires and advice on compliance for federal and state laws.

Jackie has her Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and her Master in Teaching from Drake University.
